The 5th edition of UMEMA will be held in Paris-Est, Cité Descartes, 30-31 January 2020. UMEMA is a workshop dedicated to Uncertainty Modelling for ElectroMagnetic Applications. The field of electromagnetics applied to antennas, propagation, dosimetry and EMC among others is constantly confronted to the management of variability and complexity of configurations. The versatile use of wireless systems and the massive design and deployment of connected objects along with the reconfigurable communication networks will reinforce this variability and complexity. In this context, stochastic approaches as well as Machine Learning, Artificial Neural Network and in a wider sense Artificial Intelligence are now being used increasingly.
The objective of these two days is to provide an appropriate atmosphere allowing scientific discussions complementary to the usual approaches encountered in conferences. To organise the discussion, the two days are divided into sessions covering following topics:
- antenna design,
- propagation modelling,
- computational electromagnetics,
- dosimetry,
- electromagnetic compatibility,
- etc.
